Embattled Lovecraftian open world The Sinking City – originally released in 2019 and caught in countless courtroom dramas since – is finally under the ownership of its original creator Frogwares. And with a sequel on the horizon, the Ukrainian team has announced a full free remaster.
This will be available to everyone who owns the existing game on the PS5, and includes some crucial upgrades, including a switch from Unreal Engine 4 to Unreal Engine 5, as well as 4K textures, improved reflections, and a complete lighting upgrade.

The studio says full gameplay will be shown off soon, but if you’re impressed by what’s on display here, there’s still time to support The Sinking City 2 on Kickstarter.

Im an existing owner of a ps5, do i get a free copy?

It is so cheap now but deffinately worths the money even at full price.
Oh nice. I own the PS5 version but have yet to start it so i might use this as the excuse to finally do it.
Frogwares keeps on delivering for their fans! Their games are quintessential "Eurojank," but with so much heart, it's really hard not to thoroughly enjoy their games. I'll definitely be playing through this again in anticipation of the sequel!
Nice, it's currently just 5€ for ps plus members and just the right thing after recently finishing the fantastic alone in the dark reboot.

Just bought this on the sale with 3 Sherlock games for $9. Wouldn’t have gotten to it anytime soon but glad it’s getting a free update.

i have this on ps4 disc does that get an upgrade?
